PC Port II Instructions

1. Receive data from the total station
   1) Choose the right ComPort. Then choose the same BaudRate on the total station and PC Port II.
   2) Click "Receive" on the PC Port II and then Click "Send" or "Export" on the total station.
   3) The PC Port II will automatically choose the corresponding display mode to show the received data depending on the it's type.

2. Send data to the total station
   1) Choose the right ComPort. Then choose the same BaudRate on the total station and PC Port II.
   2) Edit coordinates file or codes files.
   3) Click "Send" on the PC Port II and then Click "Receive" or "Import" on the total station.

3. Setting
   Click "Setting" to enter setup interface.
   1) Angle Unit: Include DMS, GON and MIL. The angle unit will affect the display of the measured file.   2) Dist Unit:  Include Meter, US-Ft and INT-Ft.The distance unit will affect the display of the measured file and coordinate file.
   3) K Option: Include 0.00, 0.14 and 0.20. The K Option will affect the calculation of horizontal distance in the GTS-7 measured data.
   4) Grid Scale: Range 0.9 to 1.1. The Grid Scale will affect the calculation of horizontal distance in the GTS-7 measured data.
   5) Coord Order: Include NEZ and ENZ.This setting will change the coordinate's order of the coordinate display mode.

4. Open the file
   1) Click "open". Select the target file. The PC Port II will open the file and then automatically display the data according to the file content. The measured data display in the Memo, and the coordinate data and code data display in the Table.
   2) Open options.:
        Any File(*.*),
        CASS coordinate file(*.dat;*.csv;*.txt),
        Binary coordinate file(*.coo;*.pts;*.cor),
        Binary measured File(*.mea;*.job),
        GTS-7 coordinate file(*.csv;*.txt)|,
        TS job file(*.htf),
        Code file(*.txt).
   3) When the format of the file is unsupported or the file is damaged,  show the error message.

5. Save the data
   1) Click "save". If there is data in the display area, The PC Port II will choose the right save options to save the data according to the current data content.
   2) Data types and save options.
      Measured data:
        Comma separator measured file(*.csv),
        Comma separator measured file(*.txt),
        CASS coordinate file(*.dat),
        DXF coordinate file(*.dxf),
        GTS-7 measured file with HD(*.gt7),
        GTS-7 measured file with SD(*.gt7),
        GTS-7 measured file with all data(*.gt7),
        GTS-7 coordinate File(*.txt),
        TS job file(*. htf).
      Coordinate data:
